Lishui is a national-level ecological reserve located in the west of the Yangtze Delta and 38 kilometers away from Nanjing,capital city of Jiangsu Province and administered by Nanjing.It is where the headstream of Qinhuai River,an inviting scenery belt,originates and enjoys easy transportation to Nanjing Lukou International Airport.Covering an area of 1,067 sq km,Lishui has a population of 410,000 in 7 towns.It also boasts a provincial-level economic development zone and 2 state-owned timber plantations.

CLIMATE:The annual average temperatures are 15.5(highest 38 and lowest -2),average relative humidity,rainfall wind speed and frost-free period are 70%,1070mm,3.3m/s and 272 days respectively.The major wind direction is southeast wind(in summer).

GEOLOGY:The area has a high topography with a strong terra resistance and a stable earth's crust and no later-stage activity configuration.The ground can bear a weight of about 160-250 kilo flow per square meter,with an underwater level of 1.5-2.5 meters and rock layer of 12-15 meters.

EARTHQUAKE FORTIFYING:The acceleration of the earthquake movable peak value is 0.10g(equivalent to magnitude 7 fortifying area).
