A southern city of Jiangsu Province,Lishui borders Shanghai Municipality,Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province.It functions as the southern gateway of Nanjing,capital city of Jiangsu Province,with airports,railway stations and ports within an arm's reach.Ninggao Expressway (Nanjing to Gaochun),and Ninghang Expressway(Nanjing to Hangzhou),have brought Lishui even closer to most influential cities in the region,such as Shanghai,Hangzhou,Suzhou and Wuxi,etc.It is of no doubt that Liansan Expressway and Phase II project of Ninghang Expressway,to be opened to traffic soon,will make transportation network of Lishui more convenient and speedy.All these have established Lishui as a key traffic joint of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai and facilitated flow of human resources,logistics,information and capital.So far the goal of "5 minutes to expressway,10 minutes to Lukou International Airport,30 minutes to downtown of Nanjing,50 minutes to Nanjing Xinshengwei Port and 2 hours to Shanghai and Hangzhou" has been achieved.
