On the afternoon of January 26th, the press release and investment promotion conference for the 2024 Nanjing Lishui Half Marathon at the Golden Manor was held in the Feiyan Cultural Industry Block, with the participation of Deputy District Mayor Xu Xinzhou.

At the press conference, the organizing committee gave a detailed introduction to the preparation, registration, and highlights of the Lishui Marathon. They held a flag awarding ceremony for the Lishui Rural Fitness Running Team and a sponsorship ceremony for the event. They announced that the 2024 Lishui Strawberry Marathon will start at 8:30 am on March 3 at the foot of Wuxiang Mountain in Lishui, with two groups: half marathon (7000 people) and mini run (5000 people), with a total size of 12000 people.

Since its first held in 2015, the Lishui Strawberry Marathon has accumulated and developed through seven competitions, winning three gold medals from the Chinese Association of Athletics Federations. In 2021, it was awarded the World Association of Athletics Federations "Badge Race" and became a spring promise for countless runners and Lishui. The label of "Strawberry Horse" and "Ecological Horse" has deeply rooted in people's hearts.

The 8th Lishui Marathon in 2024 will focus on "sports+", adhere to and deepen the operational concept of integrated development of sports, tourism, culture, commerce, and agriculture, take marathon events as the main line, promote the cultural tourism and agricultural industry in Lishui as the secondary line, rely on the unique regional resources of Lishui, and innovate to create the "All People Sports and Life Festival" in Lishui.

The route of this competition has been optimized and upgraded, with more convenient transportation connections, allowing athletes to have a smoother departure experience. The new track passes through Fujiabian Science and Technology Park and Strawberry Square, showcasing the characteristics of the "Lishui Strawberry Marathon" in a panoramic manner. At the same time, March coincides with the blooming plum blossoms in Lishui. The natural ecological environment creates a pleasant sports scene for runners, allowing them to breathe in the forest while running and feel the serene beauty of nature.

As the "Strawberry Horse" in the hearts of countless runners, Lishui Strawberry is a unique label of Lishui Marathon. This year, Lishui Marathon has partnered with the national key leading enterprise Golden Manor to further optimize the quality of strawberries. In addition to the red color, this competition will also provide strawberry varieties such as First Love, Black Pearl, Countryside, Angel, etc., allowing contestants to fully experience the sweet taste of Lishui as the "Hometown of Chinese Strawberries". At the same time, in addition to the strawberry supplies during the competition and the strawberries after the competition, the organizing committee also prepared a blind box tasting package of "Baby Strawberries" from the Golden Manor for each contestant before the competition, allowing them to taste the sweet "berries" in Lishui.

In addition, along the newly added "Pudu Line" track this year, a Lishui specialty food supply station will be set up to invite runners to taste the taste of Lishui together.
