On the morning of June 29th, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nanjing National Agricultural High tech Zone Blueberry Picking Season, known as "Lehuo Baima Berry Fragrance Drifting in Li", kicked off on Blueberry Island in Huangwanli Village, Baima Town. The scene was filled with fruity aroma and was full of excitement.

Xia Yun, Deputy Secretary of Lishui District Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Cui Changlong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Baima High tech Zone and Secretary of the Party Committee of Baima Town, Wu Wenlong, Researcher of the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Jiangsu Province, Zhang Qun, Director of the District Supply and Marketing Cooperation Federation, Hu Jing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Ji Ling, Chairman of the District Women's Federation, Zhang Lei, member of the Party Working Committee of Baima High tech Zone and head of Baima Town, Li Linghui, Deputy Director of the District Agricultural and Rural Bureau, Wu Kesong, Deputy Director of the District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Shi Jianjun, Deputy Director of the District Bureau of Commerce, attended the event, and relevant personnel and enterprise representatives of Baima High tech.

Huangwanli Village, Baima Town, Lishui, has pleasant scenery with mountains and waters complementing each other. There is a bay dam above and a river bay below, surrounded by curved water flow. It is also known as the Nine Bends and Eighteen Bends, hence the name Huangwanli. This is the origin of blueberries in Lishui and one of the earliest regions in China to cultivate blueberries.
