This is Fujiabian in March

Recently, the "Meet the Beauty of Lishui, Embrace the Spring Promise" agricultural, cultural, and tourism initiative to support farmers and boost consumption kicked off in Honglan Fujiabian Agricultural Technology Park. Visitors strolled through the vibrant sea of flowers and shopped for local specialty agricultural products, accelerating Fujiabian's transformation into a "wealthy home."

The Market Thrives, Strawberry Sales Soar

Walking along Plum Blossom Avenue, spring plum blossoms bloomed along both sides of the road under the warm sun, with petals dancing in the spring breeze and their fragrance filling the air. Visitors admired the flowers, took photos, and lingered at the more than 40 stalls of the "Beautiful Plum Market."

"Premium Fujiabian strawberries, freshly picked today!" vendors enthusiastically called out. Boxes of "Red Beauty" and "Fragrant Wild" strawberries attracted many visitors, generating over 5,000 yuan in revenue in just two hours.

The market featured a variety of Honglan specialties and Lishui quality products, including aromatic local agricultural goods like Huang Jiaoshou food products, Honglan intangible cultural heritage Yudai cakes, Tangxi rice, and Baima blueberries. The cross-border goods section, offering cosmetics, daily necessities, and cultural and creative artworks, also drew significant attention.

"I only came to see the flowers, but I ended up buying so much," said one visitor, carrying freshly purchased strawberries and pastries. According to statistics, the market's sales for the day reached 90,000 yuan, boosting revenue for nearby restaurants and businesses by approximately 190,000 yuan.

Scenic Spots Showcase Popular Study Tour Products

On the same day, scenic spots such as Wuxiang Mountain, Tiansheng Bridge, and Guoxing Manor seized the opportunity to promote their spring-themed travel routes through exhibition boards, showcasing the charm of Lishui's all-for-one tourism. "This route connects mountains, water, and flower fields, making it perfect for a weekend road trip," staff explained to visitors.

The most popular attraction was the study tour consultation desk set up by Fujiabian Technology Park. Staff introduced that the park organizes regular monthly study tour activities, featuring experiences like tea picking, dragon boat racing, and plum wine brewing, combined with stays in rural guesthouses and farmhouse meals. These activities cater to youth study tours, family outings, and corporate team-building needs.

A representative from Honglan Street explained, "Tea picking in spring, dragon boat racing in summer, brewing plum wine in autumn, and staying in guesthouses with farmhouse meals in winter—we aim to promote the concept of 'Four Seasons in Fujiabian.'" On-site, Ms. Li, who came with her child to inquire, immediately booked a tea-picking experience: "I only knew Fujiabian had plum blossoms in spring, but I never realized there are activities to enjoy year-round."

According to statistics, study tour inquiries exceeded 200 on the day of the event, with nearly 50 families making on-site bookings, laying the groundwork for transitioning from "springtime economy" to a "year-round evergreen" model.

Tree Planting Adds Greenery, Boosting Picking and Guesthouse Businesses

Nearby, the tree-planting area was bustling with activity. Seizing the opportunity of Arbor Day, the park leveled and managed over 70 acres of idle land, attracting around 2,000 participants over several days to plant more than 5,000 trees. The layout included ornamental plum trees on the periphery and fruit plum trees in the center, balancing ecological aesthetics with industrial benefits.

After tree planting, many visitors headed to the strawberry greenhouses. Growers noted that since March, the greenhouses have been fully booked on weekends, hosting dozens of groups daily. Beyond flower viewing and fruit picking, an increasing number of visitors are choosing to "stay longer." With plum blossoms reaching their peak viewing period, bookings for nearby guesthouses have surged. "Weekend rooms were fully booked last week," said the manager of a guesthouse in Shan'ao Village, adding that guests are shifting from "day trips" to "staying overnight" to leisurely enjoy rural life.
