New energy leading enterprises have settled in succession

Founded in 2010, Kaiwo Group is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the research, development, production and sales of new energy vehicles in the Development Zone. In 2017, it officially entered the passenger vehicle market. At present, it has three core brands, namely, "Kaiwo" new energy commercial vehicles, "Skyworth" new energy passenger vehicles, and "Chuangyuan" parts.

"We are one of the few new energy vehicle enterprises in the industry that have a full range of models, master the core technology of" three electrics ", and develop both business and passenger transport." Jiang Min, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Kaiwo Group, told the reporter that Kaiwo had been the champion of new energy commercial vehicle production and sales in Jiangsu Province for five consecutive years. Battery is the core part of new energy vehicles. As an upstream supplier of new energy automobile enterprises, Nanjing Xinwangda, which settled in Lishui in 2019, has established a supply and marketing relationship with Nissan, Dongfeng, GAC, SAIC GM Wuling, SAIC Passenger Cars and other well-known new energy automobile manufacturers. By the end of December 2021, the output value has reached 1.7 billion yuan, and more than 3500 people around have been employed, which has played a positive role in the gathering of local industries, and has led a large number of high-quality projects such as Longdian Huaxin, Prexis Testing, etc. to settle in.

Thedevelopment of automobile industry chain

As early as 2011, the development zone has built a new energy automobile industrial park from a high starting point. Centering on the three key areas of the automobile leading enterprises, key core parts technology and new energy automobile service market, it adheres to the equal emphasis on production and manufacturing, technology research and development and supporting services to build a new energy automobile industry chain.

In recent years, the Development Zone has successively introduced major projects such as Kaiwo New Energy Special Vehicle, Xinwangda, Longdian Huaxin, Honeycomb, etc., and rapidly gathered five vehicle enterprises. At the same time, it has attracted a number of new energy vehicle parts enterprises to settle down, with products covering clutch, gearbox, motor, compressor and other new energy vehicle industries.

As the largest leading industry in the region, Lishui's new energy automobile industry has grown from scratch, from weak to strong, and has witnessed explosive development in just a few years. At present, Lishui has gathered six new energy vehicle enterprises, including Kaiwo, BYD and Chang'an, and more than 200 core parts enterprises. It has formed a new energy vehicle industry ecosystem covering the upstream and downstream industrial chains, from vehicle manufacturing to key parts R&D, production and sales. It has become one of the four major bases of Nanjing's new energy vehicle industry landmark, and has been successfully selected as the national torch characteristic industrial base.

In the first half of this year, Lishui realized the main business income of the new energy automobile industry chain of 20.5 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 25.7%.
