On July 3rd, the 13th China International Forum on Food and Agricultural Product Safety Testing Technology and Quality Control opened at the Platinum Han Jue Hotel in Nanjing. The conference is jointly organized by Nanjing Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, Analytical Instrument Branch of China Instrument and Meter Society, and Analytical Instrument Branch of China Instrument and Meter Industry Association.

This conference revolves around the theme of "communication, promotion, safety, health, and nutrition", focusing on core topics such as pesticide residue detection, rapid detection technology, heavy metal and element detection technology, and conducting in-depth discussions and experience exchanges in order to form a broad academic consensus and promote the development of the entire food and agricultural product quality and safety industry chain in China. Hundreds of well-known companies in the industry, such as Bawang Tea Lady, Dongpeng Special Drink, and Weigang Dairy, gathered with audiences from all over the country to discuss cooperation and seek common development.

At the meeting, Zhai Xiaoli, Deputy District Mayor of Lishui District, solemnly introduced the Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone to the attendees. As the first batch of national agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zones and currently the only one in the Yangtze River Delta, Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone has a clear theme of "green and smart agriculture" and a mission to build an "international agricultural science and technology cooperation demonstration zone, a source of agricultural science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta, and a model area for technological revitalization in rural areas". It focuses on opening up to the outside world, scientific and technological innovation, and industrial development, scientifically and accurately laying out the "1+3+1" industrial system, exploring new paths and methods for developing agricultural science and technology new quality productivity.

In order to ensure food and agricultural product safety, Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone has established the Nanjing Agricultural University Animal Medicine Research and Development Center (P3 Laboratory), major scientific and technological infrastructure for crop phenotype omics, and a provincial-level intelligent manufacturing technology innovation center for healthy food. These facilities comprehensively guarantee the safety of the people's "basket of vegetables" from the aspects of meat product safety, seed industry safety, and healthy food, providing a "plan" for the agricultural high-tech zone to control the quality of food and agricultural products, which is a major issue related to national economy and people's livelihood.

At this conference, Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone participated in the exhibition, presenting the latest achievements and innovative practices in modern agricultural technology, agricultural product safety and quality, rural revitalization, and agricultural culture in all aspects. At the same time, the investment promotion team carried out on-site investment promotion activities, connected with several food enterprises and inspection institutions such as Bawang Tea Ji and Nanjing Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, and invited companies such as Shimadzu Experimental Equipment Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site inspections of the Agricultural High-tech Zone and cooperate together.
