In search of business opportunities, orders, and export promotion, on November 4th, the 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) came to a successful conclusion in Guangzhou. At this vibrant trade event, the Lishui District Bureau of Commerce organized a total of 16 representative companies to participate, once again expanding the overseas network of "Lishui Manufacturing" and reaping fruitful results.

This edition of the Canton Fair was held in three phases from October 15th to November 4th, focusing on the themes of "Advanced Manufacturing," "Quality Living," and "Beautiful Lifestyle." Lishui District had a total of 16 participating companies, including Skyworth Electric, Golden Dragon Bus, etc., with 60 booth spaces. This represented a growth of 33% and 25% compared to the previous Canton Fair, covering more than 10 exhibition areas including household appliances, power and electrical equipment, processing machinery, building materials, toys, etc. The increase in participating companies and booth spaces reached a historical high.

Skyworth Electric, a leading company in the intelligent home industry chain in our district, showcased a wide range of white goods products in the household appliances exhibition area. Their booth was the second-largest in the home appliances section. Over 30 new products, including embedded refrigerators, dual-drive compartment washing machines, and 1kg mini washing machines, made their debut, attracting the attention of buyers from home and abroad.

As a "veteran" of the Canton Fair, Skyworth Electric has always returned with fruitful achievements. "In this Canton Fair, we brought more than 60 refrigeration and washing products to showcase our green, intelligent, and fashionable achievements in household appliances to global customers," said the company's representative Tang Changjun. Through continuous research and development efforts, Skyworth Electric aims to enhance the international competitiveness of their smart appliances and expand overseas e-commerce channels and customers.

During the 5-day exhibition, Skyworth Electric received more than 300 overseas customers, with a total of 82,000 units of intended orders and a value of 80 million yuan. The customers mainly came from Southern Europe, the Middle East, and countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative, with 40 new customers added.

King-Long Bus

At the Canton Fair, the "green storm" of new energy swept the world. In the New Energy Vehicles and Smart Travel exhibition area, the booth of King-Long Bus, a leading company in the new energy vehicle industry chain in our district, attracted a continuous stream of customers.

Since 2011, King-Long Bus has started its overseas layout in the field of new energy vehicles. "The Canton Fair provides us with a good platform to expand overseas markets. This time, we exhibited a garbage collection vehicle and a new energy SUV, and received many orders," said the company's representative happily. They received more than 350 foreign customers during the exhibition, including over 250 potential customers who expressed their interest and reached intended orders worth 35 million yuan. The customers mainly came from Central Asia, Western Asia, Africa, and other regions.

Wande Sports

In the Sports and Leisure Products exhibition area of this Canton Fair, creative products emerged endlessly. As a "veteran" of the Canton Fair, Nanjing Wande Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd., from our district, showcased their latest outdoor multifunctional climbing products, becoming one of the "popular kings" in this exhibition area. Their innovative selling points, such as patented aluminum alloy connectors, modular design, and customizable themes, attracted numerous potential customers. They received a total of 150 customers, mainly from Russia, Saudi Arabia, India, and other countries, with intended orders exceeding 5 million US dollars.

Six representative companies from our district, including Xieyi Machinery, Efoncnc, and Klaus CNC, appeared as a group at the Canton Fair's "CNC Machine Tools + Cross-border E-commerce" industrial belt. With "online + offline" trade, they received nearly 1,000 customers and obtained intended orders worth 20 million yuan. Among them, three companies, Baiguan Machinery, Jinqiu CNC, and Hanson Machinery, participated for the first time and achieved success, with sales orders totaling 60,000 US dollars. "In the current market situation, going global has become a widespread consensus. In addition to developing cross-border e-commerce business, large-scale exhibitions such as the Canton Fair provide excellent platforms and opportunities for companies to expand overseas markets," said the representative of Hanson Machinery.

During the Canton Fair, leading companies in the industrial chain of our district's dominant industries showcased the hardcore strength of Lishui's advanced manufacturing. According to statistics, the 16 participating companies received more than 3,000 customers and obtained intended orders worth 220 million yuan.

Next, the District Bureau of Commerce will solidly implement the "Lishui District Enterprise Going Global Action Plan" and fully utilize the policies and measures of the "Lishui District Assistance to Enterprises to Empower and Promote Economic Continual Recovery and Improvement" to actively make use of major exhibition platforms, helping companies secure more exhibition spaces, showcase new products, seek new business opportunities, meet new customers, and expand into new markets. They will make every effort to promote the high-quality development of foreign trade in our district.
