On December 23rd, the 2024 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference held a special session in Li Shui - the Li Shui District Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion and Application event. Representatives from numerous manufacturing enterprises gathered together to explore new paths for intelligent manufacturing and contribute to the development of intelligent manufacturing. Deputy District Mayor Chen Jianning attended the event and delivered a speech.

Since 2016, the World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference has been successfully held in Nanjing for eight sessions. This year marks the ninth session, and it has become a remarkable business card for Jiangsu's strong manufacturing province and Nanjing's industrial strong city construction. The three-day conference combines the latest achievements and trends in intelligent manufacturing, inviting elites from various fields of intelligent manufacturing at home and abroad to participate in theme conferences, major special events, thematic activities, and professional exhibitions. As one of the conference series activities, this Li Shui special event focuses on regional characteristics, builds a cooperation platform, and injects strong impetus into the high-quality development of Li Shui's manufacturing industry.

In his speech, Chen Jianning stated that the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry, as the leading industry of Li Shui, is an important component of building the "1+3+1" advanced manufacturing system. With the "intelligent transformation, digitalization, and numerical transformation" as the starting point, Li Shui District is committed to promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, providing customized administrative services based on enterprise needs, and striving to create the best business environment. This event hopes to help companies gain in-depth insights into industry development trends, fully grasp favorable policies for enterprises, expand opportunities for communication and cooperation, and inspire more innovative sparks.

During the event, experts, scholars, and representatives from the intelligent manufacturing field discussed topics such as the opportunities and challenges of digital development, technological innovation in the frontier of intelligent manufacturing equipment industry, showcasing advantageous products, and the golden age of small and medium-sized enterprises going global.

In recent years, Li Shui District has focused on the dominant industries of the "1+3+1" model and promoted the "intelligent transformation, digitalization, and numerical transformation" of the manufacturing industry. It has created a batch of replicable and scalable "5G+Industrial Internet" pilot projects and typical scenarios. Currently, there are 172 intelligent manufacturing equipment companies in the district, including 159 large-scale industrial enterprises, accounting for 94.1%. There have been 2,034 5G base stations constructed, 1,302 intelligent transformation and digitalization networked projects implemented, covering 738 large-scale enterprises. A total of 264 provincial star-rated cloud-based companies have been recognized. Additionally, 22 provincial intelligent manufacturing demonstration workshops, 2 smart factories, 1 5G fully connected factory, and 2 industrial Internet benchmark factories have been awarded. Nanjing Changan New Energy 5G Intelligent Factory was selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2023 5G Factory List.

Looking ahead, Li Shui District will always adhere to a manufacturing-driven development strategy, focusing on industrial strength. By empowering industries with digitalization and accelerating the integration of digital technology and advanced manufacturing, it will seek new breakthroughs in industrial systems, innovation ecology, and business environment.
