Amid the beautiful spring scenery of March, the scent of tea fills the agricultural high-tech zone. On March 13th, the signing ceremony for the Matcha Global Headquarters project of Shourong Future Holding Group was held at the Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone. This signing marks the official settlement of the project, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan, in the zone. It will inject strong momentum for the zone to build a complete matcha industry chain in the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and to promote the high-quality development of future food and new quality productive forces in agriculture.

Li Lei, Chairman of Shourong Future Holding Group, Wu Xiaomeng, Deputy General Manager, Zhao Xiaosuo, Advisor, and others inspected relevant industries in the Agricultural Hi-tech Zone. Attending the signing ceremony were Liu Renxiang, Second-level Inspector of Lishui District and Member of the District Government Leading Party Members Group; Tu Weiguo, Party Working Committee Secretary of Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone and Party Committee Secretary of Baima Town; Song Yang, Deputy Party Working Committee Secretary and Management Committee Director of Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone; Yu Wei, General Manager of Lishui Industrial Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.; Wang Shaojun, Deputy General Manager of Nanjing Agricultural High-tech Zone Development Group; and relevant personnel from the Agricultural High-tech Zone's investment promotion company.

Beijing Shourong Future Holding Group Co., Ltd. is a group enterprise controlled by the National Military-Civilian Integration Industrial Investment Fund. Its business covers multiple sectors including tea industry agriculture-culture-tourism, commercial complexes, park operations, and supply chain services. It serves as the core platform for the group's deep processing of matcha and the operation of the entire industry chain. The group has already established five major matcha raw material production bases across the country, located in Hubei, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Anhui.

According to the Nanjing National Agricultural Hi-tech Zone's investment promotion company, the project will mainly construct the group's global headquarters and operation center, global matcha deep processing center, R&D and quality control center, and brand experience complex. The project focuses on core functions such as matcha deep processing, R&D innovation, headquarters operations, and brand display, building a five-in-one development framework encompassing "production facilities, R&D platforms, headquarters space, cultural tourism carriers, and living support facilities."

It is understood that upon completion, the project will primarily produce graded matcha powder and derivative products, achieving an annual comprehensive production capacity of 2,000 tons. It is expected to generate an annual output value of 500 million yuan when operating at full capacity, becoming a powerful engine driving the high-quality development of the regional economy.
