On April 9, the "Digital Empowerment · Intelligent Renewal" 2025 E-commerce Public Service Provincial Tour Lishui Station event was held at the Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center. The event was hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce and organized by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Lishui District People's Government. Attendees included Gao Chengxiang, President of the Provincial E-commerce Association; Luo Bing, Director of the E-commerce Department of the Provincial Department of Commerce; Ha Mingrong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce; and Xu Rixi, Deputy District Mayor.
Stimulating New Market Vitality: E-commerce Empowers Consumption Upgrading
This Lishui Station event focused on e-commerce to promote consumption, innovate and upgrade industrial belts, and provide convenient services for the public, attracting over a hundred guests from platforms, foreign trade, and agricultural product enterprises.
The event featured exhibition areas for cross-border e-commerce, specialty products, and industrial consumer goods. E-commerce platforms, such as Garlic Cloves, were invited to conduct live broadcasts. Additionally, Lishui’s “Wuxiang Tianyuan” regional public brand and the Jiangsu Baima Future Food Research Institute presented brand promotions and new product launches, creating a blended consumption scene of “online + offline.”
Cultivating New Advantages for Development: Collaborative Innovation in Industrial Belts
Lishui District is promoting deep integration of industries through e-commerce, with its innovative "Express Delivery and Postal Service Integration" model attracting attention. This model integrates express delivery, postal services, and supply resources to construct an efficient logistics network covering urban and rural areas, solving the "first mile" issue for agricultural products and the "last mile" issue for consumer goods in rural areas, resulting in an annual growth rate of 20% in online sales across the district.
In addition, Skyworth Group showcased its "Products + Integration" dual-line ecological layout during the event, further demonstrating Lishui District's advantages in industrial aggregation in smart home technology and green transportation.
Exploring New Service Models: “Brand Sale” for Consumer Convenience
A highlight of the event was JD.com, which piloted the "Online Car Purchase, Delivered with License Plates, Safe and Direct" service in Nanjing. Consumers can place orders through the e-commerce platform and simultaneously complete vehicle registration and license plate application processes, achieving the ability to “buy a car and hit the road without leaving home.” This initiative not only simplifies the car-buying process but also promotes standardization and convenience in electric bicycle consumption. The first batch of online branded electric bicycles was delivered to user representatives by JD delivery staff, marking an innovative integration of e-commerce services and public services.
Furthermore, the event invited leading e-commerce companies and experts, including Citic Insurance, Taotian Group, Amazon, and Stonebury, to share insights on hot topics such as online retail of agricultural products and cross-border e-commerce expansion, providing strategic support for enterprises to explore international markets and build brand IP.
On that day, relevant provincial and municipal leaders also conducted on-site research on related e-commerce enterprises, such as Baima Tian Fruit Farmers and Ward Green.
