On July 1, Lishui District signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing University of Technology. During the meeting, the Nanjing University of Technology’s Lishui Branch of the Technology Transfer Center was officially inaugurated, and Xinhua signed a school-enterprise strategic cooperation agreement with the university. Additionally, the Lishui Economic Development Zone and the university signed a cooperative framework agreement for an industrial college. Present at the signing ceremony were Xie Yonghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University of Technology; He Xuejun, President of the university; Zhang Yun, Secretary of the Lishui District Committee; and Gao Junling, District Mayor.

Nanjing University of Technology, an important origin of vocational education in China, was established as the China Vocational School by Mr. Huang Yanpei in 1918. The university has produced outstanding alumni such as Zhang Wentian, Hua Luogeng, and Jiang Zhujun, along with a large number of practical technical talents. It is also the first public institution in China to pilot undergraduate vocational education. In recent years, cooperation between Lishui and Nanjing University of Technology has deepened, with multiple campus recruitment events organized for key enterprises like Longxin Electronics. Additionally, Kawei Group has established a cooperative relationship with the university in the field of autonomous driving technology, while Hengtian Lingrui and the university have built a joint training practice base for industrial talents.

During the seminar, He Xuejun stated that the industrial layout of Lishui District aligns closely with the university's disciplines and professional settings, offering vast opportunities for cooperation in leading industries such as new energy vehicles and smart manufacturing equipment. He expressed hope that both parties would continue to focus on talent cultivation, technological innovation, and industrial upgrading, leading to a series of demonstrative cooperative outcomes and jointly creating a new model of industry-education integration. Gao Junling emphasized that Lishui will deepen the integration between the university and the local area, promoting the innovation chain to empower the value chain; enhance co-education to connect the talent chain with the industrial chain; and strengthen collaborative construction to support the development chain, ensuring that the cooperation yields fruitful results soon.

Before the meeting, the attending leaders visited the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Thought Exhibition Hall and the National Modern Electromechanical Technology Public Training Base, gaining insights into the university's development history and student vocational skills training.

Leaders from Nanjing University of Technology, including Pu Huangzhong, Qiu Zhengxiang, Wei Ping, Cui Xinming, and Pan Xuhai, as well as Lishui District leaders Chen Jianning, Xu Xinzhou, and Hu Youliang, participated in the event.
