On November 3rd, Kaiwo Group and Hyundai Motor jointly held a ceremony in Guangzhou to unveil their first hydrogen-powered bus, the NJL6856FCEVF. This marks a significant step for "Li Shui Intelligent Manufacturing" in the hydrogen transportation sector, adding hydrogen power to the pursuit of zero-carbon travel.

This hydrogen bus boasts both aesthetic appeal and substantial capability. The vehicle is predominantly white, accented with light blue decorative lines, exuding a sense of technology within its simple design, while presenting a stylish and grand appearance. The prominent “H₂” logo on the side easily identifies its hydrogen-powered nature, making it a moving scenic view on the road as well as a strong contributor to green travel.
It is equipped with a 176 kWh high-capacity battery from CATL, combined with a 90 kW hydrogen fuel cell system from Hyundai, achieving zero emissions and resilience in low temperatures. The bus delivers an impressive performance with a pure hydrogen range of 390 kilometers and a combined range of 576 kilometers, requiring only 3-5 minutes for refueling.
Inside, the bus features an industry-first short rear overhang design, with a flat floor area extending 6.1 meters, providing ample space. The seating layout offers options for 15+1 and 22+1 configurations, allowing for high passenger capacity and comfortable seating, effectively balancing practicality and user experience.

As a leading player in the domestic new energy commercial vehicle sector, Kaiwo Group consistently drives forward with technology and green initiatives. The collaboration with Hyundai Motor represents a powerful partnership in technology as well as a practical demonstration of industrial chain collaboration. The new vehicle integrates Kaiwo's local manufacturing experience with Hyundai's global hydrogen technology, achieving comprehensive breakthroughs in both performance and efficiency.
The development of the hydrogen energy industry is a relay race of cooperation and mutual benefit. Li Hejun, President of Hyundai Motor Group's China Division, praised Kaiwo Group's vehicle manufacturing capabilities and looks forward to continued collaboration. Together, they aim to support carbon reduction and energy conservation in the transportation sector with low-carbon hydrogen solutions, contributing to the green transformation of society.
“Currently, hydrogen transportation is experiencing dual opportunities from policies and the market, and as clean energy hydrogen production technology becomes more widespread, the prospects for industrial development are vast,” stated Huang Hongsheng, founder of Skyworth Group and Kaiwo Group. This collaboration precisely aligns with the key layout of the hydrogen energy industry in the “15th Five-Year Plan” representing a vivid practice of “government-enterprise collaboration” to promote green transportation. In the future, the cooperation is expected to expand into more scenarios, including heavy trucks and cold chain logistics.
