On the afternoon of April 2nd, the signing ceremony for the "SMT·AI+ Industrial Intelligence Community" strategic cooperation, themed "Empowering New Energy with Digital Intelligence, Collaborating to Build a New Track," was held in the Lishui Development Zone. Attendees included Yang Wenyi, Party Secretary of the Nanjing Overseas Chinese Federation, Lu Yanqing, Chairman of the Federation, and district leaders Fei Lili and Xu Rixi.

At the event, nine organizations, including Jiangsu Nanjixing New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Wanjie Data Technology Co., Ltd., the College of Computer and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence) at Nanjing Tech University, the Institute of Information Technology at Peking University, the Qingzhan Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at Tsinghua University, China Mobile Nanjing Branch, and China Telecom Nanjing Branch, jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, the parties will collaborate on the intelligent upgrade of the entire SMT process, jointly develop an AI management system covering equipment to central control, promote the efficient transformation of technological achievements, and establish a seamless results transformation mechanism characterized by "enterprises posing questions, universities providing answers, and the market evaluating outcomes." This initiative aims to help Lishui become a national pioneer demonstration zone for the intelligent upgrade of the SMT industry.

Fei Lili, Member of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and District Government Party Member, stated that Lishui will always keep its doors open, offering comprehensive support in policy, resource coordination, and factor guarantees to ensure the early implementation and effectiveness of cooperative projects. She expressed hope that this signing would attract more innovative talents and teams to Lishui, foster more industrial innovation communities, and facilitate the transformation and implementation of additional technological achievements in the region.

Yang Wenyi noted that the establishment of this community represents not only a strong alliance among enterprises but also a deep integration across disciplines and fields, aligning with Nanjing’s strategic direction of building a central hub for industrial technological innovation. The Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation will continue to serve as a bridge, establishing service platforms such as the "Overseas Chinese Intelligence Port" to support more high-quality projects in Lishui and Nanjing.

Amid the significant opportunities presented by the current development of artificial intelligence, Lishui is actively seizing the moment to promote the integrated development of "AI+." The district has explicitly proposed implementing the "AI+" initiative in its 15th Five-Year Plan, accelerating the process of digital intelligence industrialization and industrial digital intelligence. Since the beginning of this year, Lishui has adopted a model of "leading enterprises guiding, universities and research institutes supporting, and the government facilitating" and launched the first batch of innovation community construction plans for 2026.

The newly formed community establishes a multidimensional collaboration network involving "computing power enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, universities and research institutes, and telecom operators." It creates a tight-knit cooperation mechanism characterized by "capability exchange, risk sharing, and benefit sharing," providing a replicable model for Lishui to establish more innovation communities in the future. This initiative will serve as a new engine driving Lishui’s high-quality development and contribute the "Lishui Solution" to the intelligent upgrade of the national SMT industry.
