Recently, at the 2026 UN Chinese Language Day event, Yueya Yuhua Teaproduced by Yueyahu Tea Industry in Hefeng Town, Lishui District made its debut. Boasting the quality awarded the World Green Tea Gold Prize, it won high praise from international guests.

Blending the charm of calligraphy and the fragrance of tea, the event bridged civilizations and deepened friendship. The 2026 UN Chinese Language Day was successfully held at the UN Headquarters in New York. Ambassador Sun Lei, Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, and Cherith Ann Norman Shale, UN Assistant Secretary-General for General Assembly Affairs, together with other distinguished international guests attended the activity.

Among various displays showcasing Chinese culture, the tea art booth stood out prominently.

Yueya Yuhua Tea features pine-needle-shaped buds, emerald green hues and an elegant aroma. As soon as it was brewed, it drew crowds of guests to stop by and taste it.

"This cup of tea embodies not only the exquisite beauty of landscapes in southern China’s Jiangnan region, but also the lasting mellow aftertaste of oriental culture," a UN staff member commented with admiration after tasting the tea.

Chen Yufei Presents Tea Gifts to UN Assistant Secretary-General Shale

During the event, Chen Yufei, General Manager of Nanjing Yueyahu Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., presented tea gifts embodying Jinling cultural heritage to UN Assistant Secretary-General Shale. Taking tea as a bridge, she interpreted the event theme of Poetic China, Elegant Charm.

In the 2025 World Green Tea Competition hosted by the World Green Tea Association, 194 premium teas from across the globe competed against each other. Thanks to superior tea varieties and exquisite craftsmanship, Yueya Yuhua Tea from Yueyahu claimed the World Green Tea Gold Award.

Apart from this honor, its products have also won numerous accolades including the Special Prize in the National China Tea Cup Competition, Gold Award in Jiangsu Lu Yu Cup Famous Tea Evaluation, and Gold Award in Nanjing Yuhua Tea & High-quality Tea Quality Appraisal. It is well acknowledged as a prestigious landmark brand of Lishui’s tea industry.
